Wakefield based m2r Education have been recognised by COBIS - Council of British International Schools for their efforts during the pandemic, specifically with their digital English courses.
Their English Language Teaching app was praised by judges as an “excellent support of the teachers in times of crisis".
The company have successfully launched a range of new online services to combat the effects of COVID-19 on the business, allowing them to continue to trade and grow.
Since March 2020, m2r Education has transitioned from a successful international recruitment business into a global online education resource and provider, launching three new online learning services since last summer.
Their drive and success have not got unnoticed either. On top of the COBIS recognition, they have also received commendations ranging from national press coverage, winning a national award with Vodafone and also retained their Export Champion status, afforded by the Department for International Trade and The Northern Powerhouse.
Director Munir Mamujee is now regularly asked to speak at events to showcase their achievements and offer inspiration to others.
Munir commented, ‘This is our 20th and possibly hardest year in business. To think of how it’s all happened is madness. There have been some horrendous days along the way. I don’t want to say it’s all been great. But we’ve responded in the right way and have gone out and got those opportunities’.
The aim is now to drive forward with all their new services exploring new markets and building on their hard work.
