Leeds Beckett University’s School of Events Tourism and Hospitality Management has received a ringing endorsement from its graduating students, registering outstanding results in the 2020 National Student Survey (NSS).
The results for the NSS question asking students about overall satisfaction were as follows:
Professor Rhodri Thomas, Dean of the School of Events Tourism and Hospitality Management, said:
“These are remarkable results by any standard and are testament to our focus on student experience and consistently delivering high quality teaching and learning.
I congratulate my colleagues for achieving such positive outcomes for the third year in a row – and particularly in the unprecedented times we are all currently operating in as a result of coronavirus.
“These are challenging times for the events, tourism and hospitality sectors and for graduates entering the labour market. We are working with our alumni and employers to do all we can to aid recovery.”
The NSS results were released on 17 July, just days after the School was placed in the top 50 globally by the Academic Ranking of World Universities.
Full information on the NSS can be found on the Office for Students website.
