Crowther Chartered Accountants, based in Bradley Huddersfield, sees that the Government’s apprenticeship training scheme as a very successful method of developing young people into qualified accountants and currently has six members of its team training for either the AAT or ACA accountancy qualification.
Through an apprenticeship training programme, training is provided both through block release to college and also in house, this method allows the theory to be put into practice and is a great way to learn and develop the necessary skills to become a qualified accountant.
The most recent member of the team to pass their exams is Kristian Lee. Kristian, already AAT qualified, is currently training towards the ACA qualification.
Kristian has recently had exam success, passing both the ‘Corporate Reporting’ and ‘Strategic Management’ modules just before Christmas. Kristian is nearing the end of his course and will hopefully be ACA qualified by the end of August, so he is very close to achieving the full qualification.
Steve Crowther, the managing director at Crowther’s is a firm believer in the apprentice scheme, the skills it provides the young trainees and also the commitment of the team, he quotes ‘I am proud of our team, their commitment and enthusiasm for progression. It’s great to see everyone’s hard work paying off. Congratulations to everyone who has recently passed their exams’
