Schofield Sweeney’s Dispute Resolution team has been shortlisted for the Dispute Resolution team of the Year (outside of London) award at the 2019 Legal 500 awards.
As the only Yorkshire-headquartered firm represented on the category shortlist, it is much deserved recognition for the team who have had another busy and successful year. Known for its ability to advise on high value and complex matters, the department has seen significant growth in the last 12 months. With an expanding team of 20 lawyers and high praise from its clients, they are set to continue to be one to watch in 2019.
The Dispute Resolution team moved up a tier to Tier 2 in the Legal 500 2019 guide.
James Staton, Head of the Schofield Sweeney Dispute Resolution team said, “The move into Tier 2 properly reflects the team’s strength in depth, which was augmented by recent recruits, and the quality of the work being done for clients across all 3 offices.”
The Legal 500 praised Schofield Sweeney as being 'excellent across the board', in the 2019 rankings.
The firm is ranked in 14 practice areas in the Legal 500, with Construction and Engineering being a new entry.
“I am delighted to have been ranked as “highly reputable” and received recognition for our growing construction practice in this year’s Legal 500. Looking forward to building upon this success over the coming year.” Gary Ashton, Partner, Construction and Engineering.
