Leading Huddersfield based recruitment agency, Stafflex, has announced that is has gained the Cyber Essentials Plus certificate.
Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme designed to help protect businesses against cyber-attacks. Cyber Essentials Plus is a more advanced level of certification and includes an additional audit by an independent certification body, and an onsite assessment every 12 months.
The scheme addresses the most common internet-based threats such as hacking, phishing and password guessing. It also helps protect the confidentially and integrity of data stored on devises which connect to the internet.
Abi Stahelin, Compliance and Operations Director at Stafflex said: “Cyber security is a big deal and this certification demonstrates that Stafflex have taken the necessary steps to protect the data of our clients and candidates.”
“The rise of ransomware and other forms of malware are a direct threat to the running of our business and with the new GDPR requirements, it is extremely important for us to show that we take our digital security very seriously.”
Stafflex was awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus certificate by accreditor, IASME in February 2018 and are now featured on the government directory of organisations with the accreditation.
