Chamber Members to Support Virtual Royal Ascot Day in Aid of The Jo Cox Foundation

Published 5th Jun 2017 by Rebecca Walker

Local businesses, KC Communications and Yorkshire Payments team up with See It Now Sports to host charity Virtual Royal Ascot Day in Huddersfield.

The event is set to bring together the local business community to enjoy the atmosphere, sights and sounds of Royal Ascot whilst under the roof of Huddersfield’s YMCA function suite on Friday 23rd June.

James Howard of Yorkshire Payments commented:

“It’s great to see three local businesses coming together and we’re proud to be supporting such a fantastic event in aid of such a worthy cause.”

Included in the £40 ticket will be a 2 course meal, live music, racing on the big screen, the ability to place bets, a raffle as well as a prize for the best dressed lady.

The event will be held in conjunction with “The Great Get Together” an initiative set up by The Jo Cox Foundation.

The Great Get Together is being held on 16-18th June, encouraging neighbourhoods to come together to celebrate all that we have in common, something that Jo herself stood for.

James Beattie, Managing Director at See It Now Sports commented:

“This will be the first Virtual Royal Ascot Day we have hosted and after some highly successful Cheltenham Race Days, we are looking forward to a glamourous afternoon with a fantastic atmosphere and we are thrilled to be supporting such a tremendous charity in memory of Jo.”
