Hunter Safety Team Take On Grueling Yomp

Published 16th May 2017 by Rebecca Walker

15 Hunter Safety employees have bravely pledged to take on the grueling Cateran Yomp in the name of charity.

The Yomp, which takes place in June in rural Perthshire, will see participants tackling an arduous walk of either 22 miles for a bronze medal, 36.5 miles for a silver medal or a relentless 54 miles to take home the gold medal, which must be completed in 24 hours.

Managing Director at Hunter Safety, Katie Hunter, said: “Our competitors will not only bring home a medal but also a great sense of accomplishment! This is a great opportunity for some friendly competition between colleagues whilst achieving some excellent team-building. It’s going to be tough but we are doing this to raise vital funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, supporting soldiers and their families in times of greatest need.”
