Mark Coulter an employee of Chamber member Andy Thornton is to undertake a gruelling 1,000-mile, 12-day cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’ Groats, with the aim of raising over £2,700 for the charity CICRA - Crohn's in Childhood Research Association.

Mark’s brave expedition will depart Land’s End on 30 August 2016, taking him through Cornwall, over Dartmoor, north along the Welsh border, skirting the Lake District into Scotland, via the Lochs and the Highlands and finally arriving at John O’ Groats on Saturday 10 September.

Mark, 55, who is the Lighting Buyer at Andy Thornton, is raising money for children with Crohn’s and Colitis because his nephew Jake Green, 16, was diagnosed with Crohn’s at the age of 10. CICRA supports families of children and young adults with this devastating, life-changing disease.
