Two appointments have been made by Sheards Accountants this month who welcome Georgina Smallpage and Georgia Taylor to their growing team.

The appointments come after Sheards have projected turnover to increase significantly by year end following a number of new account wins which have required another full time AAT qualified accountant to join the team.

Georgina has joined from a Barnsley based firm and is AAT qualified with 8 years’ practice experience. She will be directly responsible for all year-end accounts work for owner managed businesses.

Georgia is joining as an apprentice accountant having just left Shelley College. She will be working across all aspects of the firm so that she can gain some practical experience while working towards studying for the AAT.

Sheards continue to be committed to supporting apprenticeships as Georgia joins 2 other apprentice accountants at the firm who have been working towards their AAT over the last 3 years.

Kevin Winterburn, Director at Sheards Accountants commented:

“It’s a really exciting time for Sheards with a number a recent new business wins and more potential accounts in our sales pipeline. We’re still very much dedicated to providing apprenticeship opportunities for students in the local area and are committed to giving students invaluable experience alongside their studies. We’re delighted to elcome Georgina and Georgia to the firm and look forward to contributing towards their future career development.”
