A new group of young people are promoting the development of young professionals following the success with their networking event, YP Fridays (Young Professional Fridays).

The networking group, which was set up in January by four young professionals, Ross Thornton of Walker Singleton, Gavin McLeod of GMC Roofing, Nicola Mellor of Pepamint and Lauren Crossley of Towndoor, aims to bring together a new generation of professionals.

The group meets on the last Friday of every month in a central Huddersfield venue from 12.30 – 2.00pm, previous venues have included Revolution, The Slug & Lettuce and Turtle Bay.

The group has already had a huge impact helping young professionals make new connections and improving their confidence. Nicola Mellor, Managing Director of Pepamint commented "YP Fridays allows young professionals to join together to build contacts and meet like-minded individuals. We are overwhelmed at the response to our events and positive feedback that we have received from our visitors".

The next YP Fridays meeting will be held this Friday at Kings Bar, King Street, Huddersfield at 12:30pm. A complimentary buffet is available together with a variety of drinks offers as well as a 15 minute speech from a motivational speaker, Omar Rafaat.
