A group of Huddersfield’s leading business owners have come together to launch a new support group to fellow entrepreneurs.
Named HD Business Works, the group has been set up as a Community Interest Company to ensure any profits made will be recycled into further support for the HD community.
Led by Jonathan Hill of Meltham-based accountancy practice, Pierrepont, HD Business Works aims to help firms who have a base, or operate within, a HD postcode via advice and support from established businesses across a wide range of sectors.
The support and guidance on offer centres around the key areas of owning and operating a business, both on a day-to-day and on a strategic basis.
Collectively the group has more than 100 years’ experience and includes local firm’s Breakthrough, Delicious Media, LimeTree Europe, MacComms, Pierrepont, Riasca, Simply Customer, The Implementer and Truefleet.
Provided by experienced professionals in their own respective fields, it provides a service to small business which is not always freely and readily available. All support given is with integrity, understanding and without obligation.
Specialist expertise covers accounting, marketing and PR, sales, customer journey, project management, international trade, website development, design, office supplies and fleet management.
Start-up or scale-up business owners will be offered a limited amount of free advice and support via phone, email or face-to-face.
Founder of HD Business Works, Jonathan Hill, said: “HD Business Works’ mission is to help small business, which in turn helps other business, helping put the HD postcode on the map as the place to do business.”
