Chamber member, Huddersfield Community Trust’s Dance Department are offering free lifestyle and fitness sessions for females aged over 16.
The free 8-week programme aims to support females change unhealthy habits and kick start a healthier lifestyle whilst providing the necessary support to stay on the right track.
Feedback from previous sessions state how the classes helped the attendees learn how to effectively read food labels and make informed choices when it comes to diet and all round health.
Bernie Nunn, Dance Zone Manager commented “The sessions are a great opportunity for ladies to join a safe, supportive environment to gain a healthier lifestyle. Catering for those aged 16+ we often see mum’s, daughters and even granddaughters in attendance. The level of support the attendees offer each other is second to none and past programmes have seen ladies make significant changes to their health and change their outlook on fitness activities”.
The sessions, which are held at The Zone on St. Andrew’s Road commence on Tuesday 7th June between 6 – 7.30pm.
