Chamber member, Sutcliffe Play, innovators in the design and manufacture of children’s outdoor playground equipment, has appointed a new regional contracts manager, John Souter.
John joins the company from his previous role as a contracts manager working for the Ministry of Justice and Home Office. His varied experience also includes serving in the military, in HM Forces Royal Engineers.
John, who recently joined Sutcliffe Play, is looking forward to his new role: “Having five daughters, the welfare and wellbeing of young people has always been close to my heart. It is a pleasure to be a part of such an innovative, dynamic and forward-thinking company who provide clients with play areas that children of all ages and abilities can enjoy.
“I am enthused by the team’s dedication to the company and to providing clients the best possible solutions for children to play in safe and stimulating environments. Working to this ethos is what I am looking forward to most.”
As contracts manager, John is responsible for overseeing the whole installation process, liaising with internal departments, clients and contractors from initial meetings and site visits to post work inspections to ensure client satisfaction.
