MY Conference Kirklees, organised by the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, took place on Wednesday 16th March at the John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield. With over 480 attendants and exhibitors, the Stadium was alive with the buzz of local business.
Along with the exhibitor hall, the one-day conference, featured speaker sessions covering a wide range of topics giving delegates food for thought; from customer service to the digital landscape, and the importance of corporate social responsibility. Delegates were also inspired by a selection of motivational speakers. The conference also included an informative panel discussion, focusing on business within Kirklees, starring local leaders across various sectors.
Social networks were busy with references to the conference and the organisers have received great feedback regarding the day.
Janet Bebb from Chamber member Social Progress, who exhibited at the event commented: “Brilliant event. There was a real buzz about the whole day from when the doors opened to the last stands being dismantled”.
Rachel Dickie, Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Events & Membership Co-ordinator said: “It was great to see so many local businesses connecting with each other. We are delighted to say that MY Conference Kirklees 2016 was a success and we are looking forward to MY Conference Wakefield on 15th June.”
