Member company Abzorb are delighted to announce that they have been honoured as Business of the Year by The Examiner Business Awards, the biggest and longest-standing business awards in Kirklees, with a history of recognising and rewarding successful businesses across all sectors.
The Examiner wrote; “It was an outstanding year this year with over a 20% increase of business entering from (last) year’s already record breaking figure! The standard of entries was also extremely high; this made the judges decisions extremely difficult.”
Abzorb is supporting businesses within its community and beyond by helping to transform the UK into one of the most digitally advanced countries in the world. By harnessing innovative technologies, one of which is the Kirklees CORE gigabit network, businesses can increase internet connection speeds from an average upper limit of 5Mbps (Megabits per second) to 1Gbps (Gigabits per second) – a massive increase of 20,000% that will future-proof regions for decades to come.
Working with leading names such as BT and Vodafone, to provide public and private sector organisations with a single point of contact for all their telecoms’ needs, Abzorb has been recognised nationally, with awards such as the Mobile Distributor of the Year, on more than one occasion.
Abzorb has been at the forefront of unified telecommunications for over 20 years and now has a product set that includes mobile and fixed telephony, internet, vehicle tracking and cloud solutions.
In addition to selling directly to clients, we have developed a partnership programme called Abzorbplus+ that sees resellers selling services on our behalf. The highly successful programme now has 300 partners on board.
Sales director Faruk Amin said: “To be considered for the Examiner Award is a great honour and a privilege. We would like to say a big thank you to our customers, partners and staff for their support, helping us get to where we are today. Through working with strategic partners, we are proud to see that our name is now, not only synonymous with integrating fixed line and mobile services on one bill and one contract, but with helping businesses realise their potential through increasing their internet bandwidth. Indeed, we are proud to be the 5th largest authorised supplier of the BDUK voucher scheme – standing toe to toe with major household names including Virgin Media, BT and Talk Talk”
Managing Director, Steve Beeby added: “I take immense pride that our business has built on 22 years of success to achieve our strongest ever year. Through the strength of our people, our commitment to best practice, and our passion for championing the very latest innovations in hyperfast connectivity, we’ve not only safeguarded our own success, but have played a key role in enabling the success of our fellow businesses across UK.”
