National Coal Mining Museum shortlisted for DDR award

Wakefield-based member the National Coal Mining Museum has been shortlisted for the Best Day Delegate Rate in the Conference and Hospitality Show Awards 2015.

The inaugural Conference and Hospitality Show Awards provide hotels and venues with a unique opportunity to showcase their facilities by competing in 12 different categories.

The Museum entered through providing an insight in to the little extra touches that underline its commitment to providing the best experience possible to delegates.

These include the opportunity to explore 140m underground, discover the lives of miners through the many galleries and the delicious catering offering to make meeting to remember. Not forgetting the stationery, free parking and Wi-Fi, high range AV equipment and interchangeable conference space to suit all needs.

The judges will be looking for creative and inspirational ideas that will appeal to clients for their winner.

The awards supper and ceremony will be held on Thursday 30 April 2015 at The Queens Hotel in Leeds.
