Can you host a sweet box for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice?

Published 9th Feb 2015 by Rebecca Walker

Member Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life shortening conditions and their families in West Yorkshire. They need to raise £3.2 million each year to continue the support and care services that they provide.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice give support to the whole family, they help parents have time to just be mum and dad again rather than full time carers, they give time and attention to siblings and support families through bereavement counselling and general emotional support while they are caring for the child and often for years afterwards.

To help raise vital funds they have recently launched a brand new range of Forget Me Not sweets!

Their sweets are run by the hospice for the hospice, this means a minimum of 50p in every £1 spent will go towards helping local children and families, as compared to as little as 10p with other charity sweet boxes. Each box contains 20 packs of sweets which offer a great variety from Chocolate Raisins to Mint Imperials, Strawberry Bon Bons to Yorkshire Mixture and Liquorice Allsorts to Snowies there is something for everyone. Each bag costs £1 to purchase and once your box is empty one of their volunteers will be able to come and replenish your stock.

If you would like to find out more about their sweets or if you would like to host a box, please call Louise Williamson on 01484 411040 or email louise.williamson@forgetmenotchild.co.uk
