Leading Yorkshire law firm and member Ramsdens Solicitors has announced the appointment of David Bradley as its new Non-Executive Chairman.
Bradley was previously the UK Managing Partner and Global Head of the Employment practice at DLA Piper where he spent nearly 30 years, and remains a consultant to that firm. In addition to his legal work and practice he is also a non-executive member of the board of Sheffield Hallam University.
Paul Joyce, managing partner said: "We are delighted to welcome David to the firm. His experience and expertise will be vital in supporting us on the next stage of our growth. I am proud of what Ramsdens has accomplished over the past 10 years and David’s extensive business experience and his advice and guidance will be invaluable as Ramsdens continue to go from strength to strength.”
Commenting on his new appointment, David said: “Ramsdens is an excellent, progressive law firm with traditional values and I am looking forward to working with the partners during the next stage of its development.“
The new position of non-executive chairman at Ramsdens, according to Joyce, is an exciting and innovative development at a time when the market for legal services continues to undergo significant change. Bradley’s role as non-executive chairman will focus on the development of an agreed strategy and working with the partners and leadership team to help with the implementation of that strategy.
