Every Quarter we use our Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) to track trends in various aspects of economic activity and this contributes towards the national British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) survey.
The BCC QES is the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK. The overall BCC publication provides a national picture which is highly respected and informs the Government, the Bank of England and other policy-makers of all the latest business trends, aspirations and expectations.
To ensure your voice is heard and you have your say on the current issues affecting your business, we are encouraging all businesses within Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield to complete the Q4 survey.
Fieldwork for the survey opened on the 10th November and will continue until the 3rd of December, the results will be made public on Tuesday 6th January 2015.
Chamber Head of Policy and Representation Steven Leigh said: "It is really important that businesses get involved and have their say by completing our Quarter 4 survey. The Quarterly Economic Survey is a highly-respected and influential survey which tracks trends in various aspects of economic activity including domestic and export sales; past and future employment; recruitment issues; confidence in future turnover and profitability."
The Q3 survey presented some surprising results indicating a lack of business confidence following the steady economic progress which had been reported earlier in the year, view the full report.
