Calderdale member company Wallis Cutts Group's reputation in the energy efficiency industry has seen the business secure some major contracts. Most recently, Wallis Cutts Group has been asked to get to grips with voltage optimisation (VO).
VO has been around for many years yet, its reputation has suffered despite the technology being proven. Lord Redesdale (CEO of the Energy Managers Association) asked Wallis Cutts Group to Chair a meeting at the House of Lords on the 2nd September at which all the UKs VO manufacturers would attend.
The meeting saw some common goals and objectives being achieved with a plan to launch a buyers guide at the Energy Managers Show (EMEX) in London on the 19th and 20th November.
Andrew Hawley (Chairman of Wallis Cutts Group) said: "The voltage optimisation marketplace has suffered as a result of a loss of customer confidence. By running 'Voice' (The VO Industries Council for Excellence') - our aim is to get all the manufacturers working together to establish a Code of Practice, some basic standards and help regain some market confidence in the industry."
