Jordans Solicitors to expand offering two new training contracts

Published 11th Aug 2014 by Rebecca Greenhough

Wakefield-based Jordans are an independent medium sized law firm that has recognised expertise in both commercial and private work and are looking to expand in recruiting two new solicitor training contracts.

Each year Jordans strive to take on two new recruits for training contracts, selecting the solicitors of the future who are keen to build a career with them.

Jordans offer a broad-based training which gives early and increasing responsibility to trainees in a supportive environment, who are bright, articulate, creative, practical and hard working.

Jordans take pride in their ability to build long term working relationships with clients. It is therefore essential that their trainees have the potential to be at ease with clients.

Interpersonal skills, a professional yet friendly manner and sound commercial awareness are some of the criteria used to measure the suitability of applicants.

Ideally applicants will have a 2:1 degree but Jordans do look beyond the degree and understand that people from many professions convert to the law and find their previous experience a real asset.

The positions are hoped to be filled by February 2015, for more details and to apply visit the Jordans Solicitors website.
