The Chamber support's local business throughout the region and this Yorkshire Day we are celebrating all that is great about Gods own county’s businesses.
Having come through the New Enterprise Allowance scheme which helps business start ups, Nicola Mellor has grown Pepamint Media into a thriving marketing and social media business. This Yorkshire Day Nicola herself will be on hand to offer support to fellow Chamber members as she presents a 60 Useful Minutes session on how to effectively use Twitter to generate sales.
All are welcome to attend the Chamber’s 60 Useful Minutes events at just £5 to non-members and free to members. Pepamint’s session takes place at the Chamber’s Lockwood offices, 8:30am-10am.
We are also using Yorkshire Day as a timely reminder to local businesses that it is here to support them throughout the region with a range of business benefits to ensure Yorkshire’s business community thrives.
Brighouse-based member Reach Higher HR has grown from strength to strength since its formation two years ago and the company’s founder Mark Butterick puts much of its success down to the support available from the Chamber. Mark commented: “Chamber membership has been very important to us, as nobody else really does what the Chamber does. There are organisations that offer networking to varying degrees at a higher price with no other guarantees. The Chamber is unique in bringing together people from a range of business backgrounds from SMEs like Reach HR to larger employers within the area, to anything in between.”
