April 7-11, our international trade arm, MY Export Hub has launched a new site to help connect Yorkshire exporters to local support.
The new website has been developed to simplify and clearly signpost the help available to small and medium sized firms looking to trade overseas.
From help with languages, to funding and logistics, MY Export Hub has brought together local support providers across the region in one place.
The Government has targeted growing Britain’s exports to £1 trillion by 2020. This is an ambitious target and achieving this growth will depend upon many more companies exporting their goods and services overseas, as well as growing the volume of exports from experienced firms.
MY Export Hub
manager Jo Palmer said:
“Exporters often tell us how daunting it can be selling their goods overseas. With complex regulations and procedures, language barriers to overcome, foreign business practices and difficulties finding contacts in market it can be challenging succeeding in international trade.
That’s why finding the right support is so important. Our new site will put exporters in touch with support from Chamber members and partners. Whether they’ve never sold overseas before or are experienced companies looking at new markets the site will help them to find relevant assistance.”

“Our aim as a leading UK specialist in global freight logistics is to attract new local businesses and assist them in exporting their goods worldwide. The site has helped us to promote the services we offer both to new and established businesses.”
