Get connected at Connections Count

Published 22nd Apr 2014 by Rebecca Greenhough

We are inviting local businesses to come along to an informal networking event, Connections Count, at the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre, Halifax on 1st May 9:30-11:00.

Connections Count is one of our popular networking events, running every first Thursday of the month, with venues rotating between Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.

The event sees a variety of business owners presenting elevator pitches and following up new leads over a breakfast and hot beverages.

Julie Brown and Karen Muscat-Baron partners in member company The Wonderful Skills Company gained a range of new contacts at the latest event:

"We found Connections Count really interesting and met lots of new people. It gave us the chance to talk about business opportunities and we can look ahead to hopefully make some great new contacts at future events."

May’s event will see member company Westfield Health present May’s Member Offer of the Month whereby new and existing Chamber members and their staff can benefit from health care plans from just £1.10 per employee per week.

Members and non-members alike (£5.00 entry to non-members) are welcome to come along and enjoy breakfast and the opportunity to make some valuable new contacts.

View more information and book the event and follow the event with #ConnectionsCount on Twitter.
