This year the Huddersfield Town Pedal for Pounds will take the riders from the Emirates Stadium in London all the way up to the John Smiths stadium, Huddersfield. The riders will cover over 200 miles in four days, raising as much money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Academy as possible.
Two of the firm’s most committed riders will be taking on the same Pedal for Pounds route, but will be covering it in 14 hours, in order to help boost the total raised for the fantastic causes.
The riders and their support vehicles will be setting off from the Emirates Stadium on Friday 25th April at around 10pm. They will arrive back in Huddersfield around the same time as the lead group of Pedal for Pounds riders on the Sunday 26th April.
Alastair Wareham, based at the firm’s Huddersfield office and Tom Rogers, based in the firm’s Wakefield office are the intrepid riders who have agreed to take on this challenge. They will be supported by the firm’s senior partner, Jeremy Garside, Alasdair Urwin, an associate solicitor based at the Huddersfield office and Peter Harling, a solicitor also based at the Wakefield office.
The support vehicles have kindly been lent by Wellhouse Leisure and Sandal BMW Huddersfield.
The Chadwick Lawrence team are kindly asking for businesses to dig deep and sponsor their riders, there is no minimum sponsorship and everything will be gratefully received. They will ensure that all sponsors will receive publicity including social media, press releases and a mention on the firm’s website and, in some cases, logo's on the support vehicles.
