MY Network Wakefield partner Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have today announced their new partnership with Wakefield-based design, digital & marketing agency, Chamber member and fellow MY Network Wakefield partner, Statement.
Over the coming months, Statement will work with the Wildcats to update the club’s website, making this more user friendly for fans. The development means that the website will be optimised for viewing on mobile and tablet devices, allowing people to more easily enjoy and browse the latest club news and updates.
The club will also be launching a new online store, which will allow fans to purchase a wide range of merchandise with ease, and to order personalised items without the need to visit the club shop. In addition, fans will soon have an improved experience of purchasing their tickets online as they will be able to take advantage of the many benefits of e-ticketing. This facility will allow tickets to be printed at home or stored on a mobile phone to gain access to matches, avoiding the need to collect tickets from the stadium in advance of matches or having to queue on the day.
Statement’s partnership with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats is a continuation of their close involvement with the Wakefield business community, following their collaboration with Wakefield Lit Fest and their corporate support of Wakefield Theatre Royal, Unity Works and The Hepworth.
Dan Conboy, Director of Statement commented, “We’re really looking forward to working with the team at the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and helping them to modernise their web presence. We’re confident that this will make a real difference to the club, providing an improved news and shopping experience for fans”.
Kath Hetherington, CEO of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats added, “We’re pleased to get Statement on board and to be utilising their expertise to develop our online offering. The plans in place will make the online store and ticketing process much more user friendly for supporters and we’re sure fans will be pleased with the improvements when they come to fruition. The e-commerce side of the business is one where we believe we can see significant growth and the team at Statement are perfectly positioned to help us with that and we look forward to working with them.”
