Pennine Business Partners' Health and Safety Specialist Michelle Booth and her husband Tony have been selected from 18,000 applicants to be official marshalls for the world’s greatest matchplay event.
Kirklees based member Pennine Business Partners was launched in February 2010 by husband and wife team Steve & Lynn Bradley to provide bespoke outsourced marketing and HR support. They added to their service portfolio in January when the highly experienced and qualified Michelle Booth was brought on board. Pennine Business Partners’ unique service combination of marketing, HR and Health & Safety enables their clients to promote themselves and to engage, develop and support their staff.
Like many golfer’s, Health & Safety specialist of Pennine Business Partner, Michelle Booth (pictured with husband Tony) is looking forward to this year’s Ryder Cup which takes place at Gleneagles in late September. But Michelle has more than a passing interest in the event because she and Tony have been selected as official event marshalls.
European team captain Paul McGinley will be hoping their selection is a good omen for the biennial event because Michelle and Tony made their Ryder Cup debut as marshalls in 2010 when Europe gained a nail biting victory.
On this year's Ryder Cup Michelle commented: “We have some really good European players coming through and I think we have a great chance of winning for the third time running.”
