Invest in your staff this Responsible Business Week

Published 26th Mar 2014 by Rebecca Walker

With Responsible Business Week taking place 31st March – 4th April, we are urging local businesses to take care of staff by expanding their business skills and knowledge, for just £5.00 or free to members.

Member companies Option3 and The Design Mechanics will be giving a 60 minute insight into combining good images and a clear strategy, to achieve growth in 2014. It will take place on 2nd April at our Huddersfield office from 8:30-10:00. It will provide delegates with a clear business strategy and advice on the best ways to pursue this strategy through using their own business imagery, without breaking the bank!

Make sure you are clued up on people management in the workplace with the 10 HR banana skins for SMEs to avoid, in member Reach Higher HR’s session. It ill take place on 10th April also at our Huddersfield office 8:30 - 10:00. Getting the best out of people and boosting morale requires good management and planning, that’s where Mark Butterick of Reach Higher HR, is on hand to help. All 60 Useful Minutes events include a light breakfast and an opportunity for networking.

For just £5 this Responsible Business Week, staff can also broaden their networking skills and have the opportunity to increase confidence by presenting an elevator pitch at Connections Count. Connections Count is our breakfast networking event, rotating between Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. The next event will take place on the 3rd April 9:30 – 11:00 Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top.

Book a place by on any of our training and networking events for just £5 or join your Chamber and attend for free.
