Roger Marsh, Chair of the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership Board is inviting local businesses to attend a special event for business leaders across the region.
The even is to be hosted by Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Board on the afternoon of 4th March at the Royal Armouries in the presence of HRH The Duke of York, KG.
The Duke of York believes that apprenticeships represent an excellent opportunity for both young people and employers and would like to see what more can be done to give young people in the Leeds City Region more access to apprenticeship opportunities, ensuring that young people not only have the opportunity to develop the right skills to become economically active but also are able to gain experience.
The special event, for Managing Directors/Senior Management of small and medium-sized businesses that represent the engine of our local economy, is to brief you on the opportunities that the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is working on to benefit your business - in particular opportunities around high quality apprenticeships for SMEs across all sectors. The event will be of particular interest to SMEs who have not employed an apprentice before or for some time.
Although awaiting approval of final timings registration at the event on 4 March 2014 will commence at 1.00 pm. If you would like to receive a personal invitation to the event, please email your details to our marketing agency.
