Small and medium sized businesses across the West Yorkshire region are invited to ‘get ahead of the game’ and discover how to save time, save money and improve efficiency with the help of a brand new scheme.
Superfast West Yorkshire are this week launching an extensive free business support programme designed specifically for small and medium sized businesses in the West Yorkshire region, and are inviting local businesses to find out more at one of their upcoming briefing events.
Providing more information on the range of support on offer, including one to one advice, practical masterclasses on topics such as digital marketing, social media, websites and SEO, plus exclusive networking club opportunities, the events will take place on 11th Feb at Cedar Court Bradford and on 13th Feb at Cedar Court Wakefield.
Both breakfast sessions will take place between 8.30am-10.30am. Business owners, managers, key staff and decision makers are all welcome to attend the sessions to get ahead of the game and find out more at this early stage in the project. The free support is being provided as part of the wider Superfast West Yorkshire project, a multimillion pound investment that plans to extend high-speed fibre broadband to 97 per cent of households and businesses across the majority of West Yorkshire by the end of 2015.
As well as providing high speed fibre, the partnership aims to ensure all premises in this area have access to speeds of more than 2Mbps. The funding for this project comes from Leeds City Council, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Wakefield Council, Kirklees Council, Calderdale Council, BDUK, ERDF and BT who are all working together to bring fibre broadband to premises in West Yorkshire, which are not currently included in the private sector’s commercial roll-out plans and would otherwise have missed out on this opportunity.
