Get well connected at Connections Count

Published 26th Feb 2014 by Events

We are inviting local businesses to come along to an informal networking event at the Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield on 6th March 9am-11am. Connections Count is one of our popular networking events, running every first Thursday of the month, with venues rotating between Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.

The event sees a variety of business owners presenting elevator pitches and following up new leads over a breakfast and hot beverages. Sharon Mordey from Mirfield based SLM Consultancy joined membership after seeing the benefits available at the last Connections Count event in Halifax in February.

Joined by more than 30 business people, Sharon told us “Connections Count is a fantastic networking event for local businesses both large and small. The Chamber team provide both information and support to ensure that you maximise the opportunity to engage with everyone in the room.”

March’s event will see member company Absolute Media present on March’s Member Offer of the Month whereby new and existing Chamber members can benefit from one fully produced voice commercial plus a second commercial for just £65 each (usually £130) whilst benefitting from half price radio advertising.

Also, in March we will be supporting member Wakefield Hospice's Giant Bottle Tombola challenge and would like to encourage attendees of Connections Count to bring a bottle to donate.

Members and non-members alike (£5.00 entry to non-members) are welcome to come along and enjoy breakfast and the opportunity to make some valuable new contacts.
