Free advice on offer as National Business Planning Week starts

Today is the start of National Business Planning Week (10-16th February, 2014) which is co –organised by BIS (Department for Business Innovation & Skills) and YBM (Your Business Matters HQ).

During the week there will be daily free online help and support for UK businesses to allow them to plan for growth and success in 2014. The campaign encourages business owners to assess their existing business then identify how to be more competitive, profitable and develop a strategy for growth.

During the week there will be free business planning services to allow participants to create a business plan, an interactive forum with a panel of guest experts and a series of business articles. The following topics will be covered during the week; defining your business and aims, understanding your customers, market research, sales and marketing strategy, operations, logistics, and financials.

It is free for businesse to register. All UK owner managed businesses and start-ups can register here.
