Ten lucky businesses from Yorkshire who were attending a business development workshop by Huddersfield based member company, Insight With Passion (IWP) founder, Kate Hardcastle, were delighted when Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg dropped by to give his backing to the scheme.
Visiting this free event at new independent coffee house, Moments in central Leeds, Clegg saw how ten businesses were benefitting from IWPs “Access for All” scheme. The scheme aims to help business start-ups and charities by providing expert advice and motivation from the IWP team.
Similar sessions have been delivered throughout the UK to over 800 micro/smaller businesses as part of the 8000 hours of time IWP give back to the community every year.
Kate Hardcastle, leading the workshop today, is often seen on Sky News, BBC and ITV as an expert commentator and contributor to many business issues comments: “today is about one of our core values as a business – giving back to the community, which we see as an essential part of any responsible business. We are thrilled that Nick Clegg wanted to visit today to understand more about how our scheme works and we expect to deliver many more of these workshops and throughout 2014.”
The ten local businesses had an afternoon of inspiring discussion and debate lead by Hardcastle to “charge up their business” for 2014 as well as one to one time with Nick Clegg.
