Chamber partners and members, Elland waste management firm, Orchard Environmental has launched a new rapid response waste service for its clients, which will come to their rescue if their contractor lets them down.
The company’s new branded vehicle and trailer will carry out emergency collections for clients in the West Yorkshire area if their regular supplier doesn’t turn up as scheduled.
Justin Holley, operations director of Orchard Environmental, said Orchard understood the frustrations felt by clients when collections were not carried out on expected dates.
"We know how important prompt and regular waste removal is to our clients and the impact a failed collection can have on business operations," he said.
"Occasionally contractors don’t stick to agreed collection dates and having our own vehicle on the road means our clients now have the reassurance that their waste will be collected no matter what."
Mr Holley said that although missed collections were beyond Orchard’s control, the new rapid response vehicle would ensure clients still received the best possible standard of service.
"Customer service is our top priority and because we are ultimately responsible for our clients’ waste management we want to be certain we can support them when things go wrong," he explained.
