Yorkshire Water Launch ‘Taking Responsibility For Business Awards’ 2014

Published 8th Nov 2013 by Rebecca Greenhough

Yorkshire Water and the wider Kelda Group are delighted to announce the launch of this year’s ‘Taking Responsibility for Business Awards’.

Yorkshire Water’s vision, ‘Taking Responsibility for the Water Environment for Good’ lays out the company’s strategic direction towards greater efficiency, sustainability and success. It recognises that customers work incredibly hard to make their businesses efficient and sustainable in everything they do and the 'Taking Responsibility For Business Awards' honours those businesses which have made great efforts in a number of key areas.

If you think your business has gone the extra mile in any of the 6 categories listed then submit an entry and tell Yorkshire Water all about it. The entry deadline is 31st January 2014 and the glittering awards ceremony is on the afternoon of the 19th March 2014 in Leeds.

The categories recognised are:

  1. Trusted company – Community Heroes
  2. Strong Financial Foundations – Fiscal Efficiency
  3. Safe Water – Health & Safety
  4. Excellent Catchments, Rivers & Coasts – Environmental Protection
  5. Water Efficient Regions – Water Efficiency
  6. Sustainable Resources – Sustainable Use of Resources

In addition, there is also a Chief Executive’s Award.

Entries can only be accepted from customers in Yorkshire and should be based on a company’s overall contribution to the area of the category.

To receive an entry pack, or for more information, please contact Kevin Barefoot or Neal Edmondson.
