October Connections Count saw us return to The Shay Stadium

Published 7th Oct 2013 by Rebecca Walker

We had a great attendance of business representatives at our October Connections Count, at our return to The Shay Stadium in Halifax this month.

Delegates ate breakfast and then proceeded to present their elevator pitches to the room. Member company Oval Risk Services presented their Member Offer of the Month of 25% discount to members on their three day IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ course to be held in November.

Avid attendee Richard Armitage of member company Print Pod mixed it up this month with a quiz in replacement of his elevator pitch giving away a bottle of wine and £50.00 voucher for his services to another attendee, upon winning the quiz.

Print Pod are a Huddersfield based member of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce who benefit from a range of business support, connections and promotional opportunities we offer.

Connections Count is our popular breakfast networking event taking place each month on the first Thursday between 9.30am and 11am. All are welcome to attend, members at the free member rate and non-members for just £5.00 including breakfast.

For more information on our next Connections Count taking place at the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield, visit our events page.

We also upload videos of our networking events to our YouTube channel, should you wish to see how popular they are with attendees each month.
