The final two speakers and entertainment for this year’s Annual Dinner to be held on 17th October at the Cedar Court hotel, Ainley Top will be young Halifax born comedian and Britain’s Got Talent runner-up, Jack Carroll and impressionist, playwright and comedian Rory Bremner.
Jack came second in the ITV talent contest this year whilst Rory is known for his impressions of prominent British politicians, appearance on Mock the Week as a panellist, his award-winning show Rory Bremner...Who Else? and sketch comedy series Bremner, Bird and Fortune.
Our Executive Director Andrew Choi told us "We’re delighted to announce Britain’s Got Talent finalist and nationally recognised comedian Rory Bremner as our Annual Dinner speakers and evening entertainment. They’ll both bring a touch of laughter to the occasion which after another tough year for many businesses is sure to be well deserved.
Jack, along with Jacob Hill, our business speaker, is young and ambitious - great for the enterprise theme of this year’s dinner showcasing home-grown Yorkshire talent. And we’re sure that Rory will end the evening on a high note."
Last year the Annual Dinner was attended by almost two hundred local business people in an Olympic themed evening following the successful sporting year for team GB and most impressively team Yorkshire!
Our dinner, compered by BBC Look North’s Clare Frisby will be the key evening dinner within Kirklees Business Week, with Kirklees Business Conference held on Wednesday 16th October at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Tickets to the dinner are £50.00 (+VAT) to Chamber members and £65.00 (+VAT) to non members and booking is now available at www.mycci.co.uk/events.
