Tuesday 25th June saw Yorkshire Water’s Business Services team host the first of this year’s Business Customer Symposiums.
The Water Efficiency and Conservation seminar formed part of the team’s ‘Taking Responsibility for Business’ strategy and ties into the ‘Trusted Company’ and ‘Water Efficient Regions’ business objectives, by sharing part of Yorkshire Water’s vision with a large and diverse group of key customers. At the same time the seminar aimed to help their customers save money on their water bills, and save the environment from excessive consumption. In total there were 53 delegates in attendance from 38 large organisations around Yorkshire and beyond.
The event was held and funded in partnership with the YPO and involved a range of presentations, exercises and networking opportunities for Yorkshire Water and their business customers. Tom James, Energy Manager at YPO, confirmed that it was by far the most popular event of it’s type that YPO have been involved in, and was delighted to be part of such a successful event for his members. James Brass from Bradford M D C commented on how useful the day had been for hearing latest updates from the water industry and sharing best practise with similar institutions.
The day was deemed a great start to this year’s Seminar Programme run by the Yorkshire Water Business Services team.
