#WellConnected event brings Yorkshire Chambers and Businesses Together

Published 19th Jul 2013 by Rebecca Greenhough

Three of Yorkshire’s Chambers of Commerce are coming together to create an exclusive networking event for businesses across the region.

The event originates from the British Chambers of Commerce national brand awareness campaign ensuring that UK Chambers are keeping businesses 'Well Connected'.  The campaign embodies businesses of all sizes and from within all sectors staying 'Well Connected' at a local level with a national voice.

Director of Policy at the British Chambers, Dr Adam Marshall said of the campaign, "Chambers are unique, as they act as a front door in towns and cities in every part of the UK for the business community. There are no other bodies that do what Chambers do. Their services range from day to day support on how to run a business, to leading global trade missions to countries across the world that help members find new markets for their goods and services."

Local businesses are at the heart of local communities, driving growth and creating jobs and wealth. The Tri-Chamber event, #WellConnected Yorkshire will bring together likeminded businesses from Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, Bradford, Leeds, York and North Yorkshire to encourage growth, opportunity and professional connections, building relationships across the region.

The event is open to all, members attend for £20.00 and non-members for £25.00. It includes a welcome drink upon arrival and a fork buffet lunch.

It will take place at Bradford’s Provident Stadium on 19th September and will run from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
