Make Your Connections Count This Yorkshire Day

Published 24th Jul 2013 by Rebecca Walker

Here at the Chamber we will be celebrating Yorkshire Day on the 1st August and we're inviting Yorkshire businesses to join us at a dedicated Connections Count business breakfast event.

The event will be held at Yorkshire’s finest, the National Coal Mining Museum, in Overton, Wakefield.

The Chamber, formed from the Huddersfield Chamber back in 1853, recently celebrated our 160th birthday, demonstrating our extensive business presence within the County. Today, the Yorkshire Rose within the Chamber logo demonstrates the ongoing support to businesses within Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.

Connections Count is one of our popular, networking events, running every first Thursday of the month 9.30-11:30am, with venues rotating between the 3 areas.

Members and non-members alike (£5.00 entry to non-members) are welcome to come along and enjoy tea, coffee, a light breakfast and an opportunity to make some valuable new contacts.

Chamber member Liz Johns from Liquid Accounts told us;

"I attended my first connections count networking event at the Cedar Court Hotel [Huddersfield], and can say without a doubt that I will be going to the next event! It is a great networking opportunity for businesses new or old, looking for new strategic partners and business opportunities!"

Experience what Yorkshire businesses have to offer and make your connections count this Yorkshire Day.
