PUROSolutions Limited, a Halifax based independent print audit specialist has been awarded the Business of the Month prize for December.
Formed in 2006 by the current managing director Stephen Taylforth, PUROSolutions delivers print audit services and business management solutions across the UK and Ireland.
Following many years working for a global printing company Stephen made the decision to establish his own business which works with companies to develop print strategies to improve efficiency, increase secure printing, reduce their environmental impact, and deliver cost savings.
PUROSolutions offer a unique service which is to physically audit printers, copiers, scanners and fax machines across an organisation, then analyse the usage and volumes to accurately baseline their costs, before producing a strategy and solution design to improve efficiency and reduce overall costs. An example of this was work conducted across 4 sites for Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust taking into account 800 devices with the solution delivering a cost saving in excess of £200k per annum.
Having been delivering print audits and cost saving solutions for several years the company should take great credit for building up a very impressive client base. Including such well-known names as YELL Group; Metropolitan Police Authority; Eureka Children’s Museum; various councils such as Calderdale, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Wokingham, Hull and Belfast and most recently the Metropolitan College and Queens University in Belfast.
The judging panel felt that PUROSolutions were a worthy monthly winner because their work contributes to reducing avoidable overhead costs of their client organisations, which is vital in today’s economic climate. Their client base is diverse across both the public and private sectors and their recent appointment to the Print Audit Services Framework Agreement for participating Government departments is a strong indication of their capabilities.
Managing Director, Stephen Taylforth said, “Most of our work comes from referrals, and I am therefore delighted to have won the award and receive the recognition from local business peers. Document production and printing costs are considerable for the majority of businesses and we are able to apply our proven methodology to all business sectors to deliver impressive cost savings, efficiency improvements and a reduction on the environmental impact for the customer.”
The Business of the Month Award is run in association with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and UKTI. It is open to firms in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
