This week is the first National Business Planning Week, launched by Your Business Matters Tour, the online community of owner-managed businesses and start ups, in partnership with the Government and private sector Business in You campaign.
And in support of the national campaign, the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Ask Marketing have once again joined forces to announce a Marketing Planning workshop to support local businesses, to be held at the Chamber’s Lockwood offices, 19th March 2-4pm.
The workshop, run by Ask Marketing Director Susan Kenyon will follow on from a free seminar last month which enabled delegates to think intelligently about their company’s marketing. Susan told us “We want to make sure that the strategic thinking done by the attendees in the first seminar is used and implemented, so we are putting on the marketing planning session to ensure that local marketer’s get the support needed to develop their marketing plan which they can take away with them and put into action.”
The event is open to both attendee’s of the first session and new faces and costs just £15 for Chamber members and £25 to non members. Those that didn’t attend the first session will be provided with notes.
Chamber Executive Director Andrew explained “With businesses facing a tough time at the moment, it is more important than ever to benefit from the expert advice of our members. Ask Marketing are well placed to offer practical tips to ensure you have and plan your marketing strategy to take you through a potentially rocky 2013 without a bump.”
