Green Vision event in Halifax looks to support local businesses develop sustainable practices

Green Vision continues the 'Inspiring Business Leaders' series which looks to give local businesses help and guidance in sustainable practice.


The third seminar of the Inspiring series brings you a talk given by Eddie Bingham, Engineering Director of Interface. In 2005 Halifax based Interface was awarded the esteemed Sir Peter Parker award for the industry’s first climate neutral carpet – Cool Carpet®. Since then they have continued to be leaders in their field with the company’s ‘Mission Zero’, a pledge to eliminate any negative impact on the environment as a result of its operations by 2020

The event will be an opportunity to hear first-hand from Eddie about the Interface ‘Mission Zero’ and a practical insight into how to achieve real business results through improved environmental performance.
Alongside Eddie there will be a FREE diagnostic clinic and action learning session . Guests will come away with a better understanding of the potential business benefits of improving their company’s environmental performance.


Green Vision at Leeds Metropolitan University is an open Knowledge Exchange Network focusing a Calderdale series on Inspiring Business Leaders to raise awareness of environmental Best Practice to Calderdale SMEs and promote ERDF funded environmental business support.
