Calderdale businesses invited to attend

Green Vision looks to the year ahead and what will drive environmental practice in businesses in the Calderdale region with a series of talks given by Inspiring Business Leaders.

Green Vision will be bringing you the second of their Inspiring series with a talk given by Chris Hopkins, Managing Director of Ploughcroft and of Dragon’s Den fame.

"Chris is a genuine person who exudes passion for the micro generation industry. His integrity, faith and belief in his business dealings make it a pleasure to work with him. Chris is also focused on his goals to take his company to become a national brand. I am sure that he has what it takes to make a great success and cope with the fast pace of growth facing the industry."

Amanda Botterill, Chair, Yorkshire and the Humber Microgeneration Partnership

The event will be an opportunity to hear how Chris has become known as "Solarman" by many people in the industry and how Chris’s vision and force of personality has transformed Ploughcroft from a roofing and building maintenance company into a modern, diverse business.
Alongside Chris Green Vision will present Funding Opportunities and Fully Funded Environmental Consultancy offers for Calderdale businesses via Business Growth Calderdale.

Green Vision at Leeds Metropolitan University is an open Knowledge Exchange Network focusing a Calderdale series on Inspiring Business Leaders to raise awareness of environmental Best Practice to Calderdale SMEs and promote ERDF funded environmental business support.
