International Metalworking Technologies Exhibition

Published 1st Jun 2012 by Rebecca Walker

The 14th International Metalworking Technologies Exhibition will be held between 02-07 October 2012. The exhibition is organised by the Central Anatolian Exporters Union (www.oaib.org.tr/en) and EUF-E International Trade Fairs at Istanbul Expo Center (www.ite-turkey.com/ver3/) under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy (www.ekonomi.gov.tr).

The TATEF 2012 will give rise to a trade fair that, with its specialist sections such as the world of welding, the world of assembly and the world of dies and moulds, is able to focus on exhibitors and take attention to the entire manufacturing industry. This exhibition will offer thousands of qualified buyers from 70 different countries to get the feel of the marketplace and to take the opportunity of making as many meetings as possible over 6 days in order to establish and develop new business contacts. For further information, please visit http://www.tatef.com/.

For this particular exhibition, the Ministry of Economy is organizing a special Buyers Mission Programme, between 30th September and 03 October 2012, for representatives of private companies. Buyers from selected countries including the UK are invited to join in the Mission. For the companies attending the Mission, a briefing, bilateral business meetings with the Turkish companies, an exhibition tour and visits to manufacture sites will be organized.

As part of the Mission support, accommodation will be funded by the Ministry of Economy.

The aim of Buyers Mission is to facilitate the establishment of trade relations between prospective importers and Turkish exporters in an effective way. The Ministry of Economy organizes Buyers Missions only for selected events and target countries.

Those interested in this program who would like to take part in this event, should fill in the participation form and send back to via e-mail to birmingham@ekonomi.gov.tr or fax (012 1631 1654) no later than 12 September 2012.
