The Wakefield Enterprise Partnership has teamed-up with HMRC and Deloitte to help businesses based in the Wakefield District take advantage of increases to Research and Development (R&D) tax relief

Demystifying R&D Tax Relief - Are You Missing Out?

The Wakefield Enterprise Partnership has teamed-up with HMRC and Deloitte to help businesses based in the Wakefield District take advantage of increases to Research and Development (R&D) tax relief

R&D tax relief increased from 175% of qualifying expenditure for SMEs to 200% from April 2011 and is set to increase to 200% from April 2012. Larger companies can also access relief at a rate of 130% of qualifying expenditure.

Therefore there has never been a better time for you to learn more about how your business can benefit. In 2009-2010 UK companies claimed tax relief against £1.7 billion of R&D spend. R&D tax relief is available to any companies investing in innovative projects that advance their knowledge and technical capabilities.

This free seminar will provide expert advice to help you understand the R&D tax relief system and how your company can access it.
