An online marketing agency in Halifax has been named business of the month in a competition run by Eaton Smith Solicitors to recognise local talent.
|Digital Consortium was set-up by Liz Robinson, Mark Lloyd and Guy Utley in 2007 when all three decided to go it alone and realised that they could combine their skills.|
|The three Directors had previously worked together so they knew that their strong working relationship would help to make the business a success and they were proved right.
The company grew substantially in its first year and it wasn’t long before the Directors decided to take on their first member of staff, a developer in 2008. This was shortly followed by a designer, an account manager and more recently an account executive.
Now four years on, the company has moved to bigger premises in Sowerby Bridge and is enjoying year-on-year increases in profit.
|The judging panel felt that Digital Consortium should be commended for creating employment in the region and raising the profile of creative services in Calderdale.
Liz Robinson, Client Director said: “Winning the Business of the Month Award is acknowledgement for not just the quality of our service and our work, but also for the values we hold and our investment in the team at Digital Consortium.
“We always try to do the best by our clients and our staff; we are very pleased the judging panel appreciate our work ethics and ethos.”
The Business of the Month Award is run in association with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Business Link. It is open to firms in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
