Chamber Announces New Patrons

Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the addition of two new patrons: Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) and IT Farm.
It’s a match made in heaven for the Cricket Club and the Chamber who are both keen supporters of the Yorkshire region and its thriving business community.
The two organisations have long and celebrated histories that date back to the 1800s when they were first
established by pioneering leaders in their field.
James Hogg, Head of Commercial Partnerships at YCCC said:
"The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is the only sporting organisation that represents the mid-Yorkshire area, so it's important that we engage with the area's business community effectively.
“Mid Yorkshire Chamber quite clearly has the ear of the business community, so the club becoming a patron makes absolute sense."
The Chamber is keen to put a modern twist on its own heritage by keeping up with fast moving changes in technology through a new partnership with IT Farm.
The IT services company has been providing Cloud Solutions to forward thinking businesses for over five years and they are eager to work closely with the Chamber.
Danny Walker, Operations Director at IT Farm said:
“The commercial landscape has gone through significant change over the last three to four years. We know the genuine value that MYCC provide to its members, the range of services and support they offer help members thrive and be more competitive in the current market.
“IT Farm is proud to become a patron of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and we look forward to working with the Chamber and its members over the coming year.”
Yorkshire County Cricket Club and IT Farm join fellow patrons and loyal members Wheawill & Sudworth, Eaton Smith Solicitors and Pennine Telecom.
Chamber Executive Director, Andrew Choi, said: “It’s exciting collaborating with new patrons because they bring new influences, new ideas and new member benefits into play. It also means we shout louder on behalf of business… Howzat!”
Look out for announcements in the next few months on ways in which members can link up with the patrons to benefit from these new partnerships.
