Relocation for Chamber Departments

It was relocation, relocation, relocation for some of the Chamber’s key departments as they moved to Wakefield in March.

The membership team, accounts department and the childcare vouchers coordinator have all moved to the Chamber’s newly refurbished office on Westgate.

Although the Chamber has always had a presence in the area, Executive Director Andrew Choi felt the time was right to strengthen this further.

He explained: “With the departure of some key business support organisations, we felt that the time was right to reassert our commitment to the City.

“We’ll continue to have offices in Huddersfield and Halifax so that we remain accessible and in-touch with the local business community.”

The building in Wakefield will be used for the Chamber’s local training events and members will be able to book rooms for their own off-site meetings.

The Chamber is also making its office space in the building available to lease starting from just £5 per square foot including parking.
