Data security and the increasing risks to business of a cyber attack

When? Friday 23rd June 2017 08:00 - 10:00

Where? The Old Golf House Hotel, New Hey Road, Huddersfield, HD3 3YP

Cyber-attacks on various types of businesses are becoming more and more common. With cyber hacking comes the risk of the loss of data and customer dissatisfaction, which puts companies at risk of significant losses. Therefore, there has never been a better time to think about cyber security. But are you aware of the threats which could affect your business?

At this forum, Luke, Jason and Stefan of Equilibrium Risk will address these issues, as well as present solutions for businesses, taking into account the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The meeting will be chaired by Brian Stahelin, Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Chairman and Managing Director of Stafflex, who will introduce our guest speakers and following presentations open the meeting to a Question and Answer Session. This will provide all present with a unique opportunity to engage with the speakers and other attendees to ask questions and have them answered, and participate in a wider debate.

A light breakfast of coffee and pastries will be served at 8.00am. The meeting will start at 8.30am and finish at 10.00am.

This is a free to attend event for Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Members. A charge of £10 + VAT will apply to non-members. Numbers are limited so do book your place in good time.
